Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
Tactical Combat Casualty Care for All Service Members (TCCC-ASM) is a 1-day course created by the U.S. Department of Defense Committee on TCCC (Co-TCCC) to teach evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies to non-medical personnel.
The course offers a mix of lecture and hands-on learning. Participants must be physically able to perform the TCCC skills, which may include running, crouching, and crawling. Simulated blood is used extensively in this program, so participants should wear clothing they are willing to get stained. No live weapons will be used during this class.
Following successful completion of the course students will receive an NAEMT certification that is valid for 3 years.
