Summit Point Driver Training
Surveillance Detection
SPTF’s Surveillance Detection (SD) training prepares students for operating and moving within a surveilled environment. Training includes aspects of terrorist/criminal threat awareness, specifically how malign actors select targets, collect information, plan, and execute attacks. Students are trained in security measures for individual and force protection. Periods of instruction include conducting route analysis, with focus on identifying vulnerabilities, methods of malign actor surveillance, where to look and what to identify. The fundamentals are reinforced, and students learn to identify surveillance without indication.
Finally, students are exposed to a scenario where they develop their own SD routes, conduct movement through surveilled areas. They must observe and report, while avoiding high probability ambush/kidnap locations.
