TEAM AWARENESS KIT (TAK) + goTenna
TAK FOR TRAINERS
What It Is: The "Train-The-Trainer" training course prepares the student to go back to their home agency and provide TAK 101 training to future end-users. Building on the TAK 101 training delivery, TAK for Trainers will provide:
- Off-Grid Mesh Network “Deep Dive” – Deeper understanding of mesh networking principals and best practices that directly support operational planning and objectives.
- Bridge the Disconnected and Connected Environments – Techniques and best practices to “backhaul” an off-grid mesh network back to a connected environment, and into a TAK server. This includes best practices integrating with satellite (like Starlink), wi-fi, and cellular based solutions.
- Managing the TAK Server – Instructions on how to manage a TAK server, TAK groups, authorize access to the server and groups, and compartmentalize TAK information.
- Managing the Frequencies – Create and manage frequencies for one or more teams. This includes training and techniques that simultaneously allow for the compartmentalization of sensitive information for select users, but basic awareness and communication for all end-users.
- Training Best Practices – Proven teaching techniques that are effective for end-users that have little to no experience with TAK or goTenna solutions.
- goTenna Product Training – Hands-on instructions deploying and utilizing the following products in both planned and hasty applications:
- goTenna Pro Deployment Kit 2
- goTenna Relay Edge
- goTenna ProX2 in Relay Mode
