Vehicle Commandeering

This one-day course is designed to give students the knowledge and techniques of making a car drivable without having keys, which is basically a four-step process. The first step is selecting a vehicle that makes the process of commandeering easiest. Some vehicles are easier to commandeer than others and it is essential that students select the one that is easiest and quickest. Step two is gaining entry to the vehicle, which usually needs to be done quickly and quietly. Step three is disabling the steering and transmission locks so the student can get the vehicle to move and is able to steer. Step four is bypassing the ignition switch since you keys are not available. These techniques are discussed and demonstrated and the students are given practical exercises on these steps on multiple vehicles, including diesel engines. This course is for CREDENTIALED GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL ONLY.
